Valentina & Matthias -
modern wedding in Nymphenburg Palace, Munich

On a bright day in June, with perfectly blue skies over Munich, Valentina and Matthias said yes to each other in Nymphenburg Palace Park. The location, the atmosphere and the love of the two made this day a very special experience — and I was able to capture it in modern, authentic pictures.

With around 60 guests, they celebrated an elegant, intimate wedding that will be unforgettable for everyone involved. The ceremony began with a free wedding in the historic Johannissaal, one of the most beautiful rooms in Nymphenburg Palace. Lena, the wedding speaker, took the guests through the wedding ceremony with sensitive words, which was characterized by personal depth and warmth. A highlight for everyone: Lena also brought in her musicality and sang — a truly moving moment that visibly moved Valentina and Matthias as well as their guests.
The dog of the two was also there, which made the ceremony even more special. After all, what would a wedding be without the loyal four-legged friend who is part of the family? After the emotional “I do” we went outside the castle, where an elegant champagne reception awaited. The guests enjoyed the elegant backdrop of the Nymphenburg Palace while they toasted the bridal couple with a glass of sparkling wine. The weather was perfect and the blue sky gave the scenery an almost magical atmosphere. Valentina shone in a simple, elegant wedding dress that underscored her natural beauty. Matthias chose a stylish grey suit that matched the elegant ambiance of the castle perfectly.

As a wedding photographer, I was able to accompany them for their couple photos after the reception. The Nymphenburg Palace Park offered us wonderful backdrops for casual, casual wedding photos. Valentina and Matthias were completely relaxed and full of love for each other, which made it easy for me to capture modern and authentic wedding pictures.

After the photo shoot, the wedding party moved on to the Schlosscafé im Palmenhaus, a charming place in the heart of the castle park, where a stylish lunch awaited them. At this point I said my goodbyes to Valentina and Matthias and their guests, and let the newlywed couple celebrate with their group of friends and family.

This wedding in Nymphenburg Palace Park shows how wonderful an intimate celebration in a historic location can be — romantic, stylish and with just the right pinch of Munich elegance. If you are looking for a unique wedding location in Munich, I can only highly recommend Nymphenburg Palace. Wedding photography thrives on such moments, on the natural love between two people and a frame that complements them perfectly.
